After eight pm. A formal suit. Mint chocolate. Piano. (It will be well tuned). Orange ones, yours, they are exhibitionists. Blue ones, mine, body artists. White ones, they still only watch. From the left side, quietly and backwards, I can hear: burning bright…hand or eye…symmetry? 200 or 250 BPM is considered a high tempo and 300  super high. Miss Bee Jackson, a.k.a Flying Fleet, unfortunately will not be performing tonight. She is still recovering. The Aquarium will be arriving shortly.

In their new work Kik Melone meanders between talk show format, concert, text and dance, putting into question textures of collaboration, mechanisms of linkage and transfer of knowledge, spirals of inspiration. The content of the piece came into being by following the contours of fictional dance auto-biographies, made of what almost could have been (danced, performed) and the way these non-occurred possibilities overlap to make a performance.

When shall we three meet again
In thunder, lighting, or in rain?
When this hurlyburly’s done
When the battle’s lost and won.
— Macbeth Act one. Scene one.

The piece was awarded the prize for best dance piece in 2016 by the Croatian association of dramatic artists.
